Hi, I am Monica, living in the beautiful countryside near Toronto, Canada. I am a maker - sewist, knitter and weaver. Like many crafters, I enjoy fabric and yarn shopping a lot. I like fabrics that reflect cultural beauty and preserve traditional craftsmanship. As I continue to learn about fabric production, I realize more and more that we crafters and sewers can contribute to making this world better. I decided to be part of it by offering eco and ethical choices to the crafters’ world.
No matter you like sewing apparel, home deco or even quilting, I hope there is something for you here. While you are enjoying making and sharing your hand made projects, you may at the same time enable weavers all over the world to make sustainable livings, as well as helping to preserve our beautiful nature.
While I am concerned about the livelihood of many artisans in the world, I am also interested about you. I love to answer your questions, share your accomplishments and exchange creative ideas. Please feel free to drop me a line through email or post your comments on the blog.
Now go and immerse yourself in these beautiful fabrics made for you by people from all around the world.
