This medium to heavy weight tencel organic cotton spandex 2x2 rib knit fabric has good body. It contains spandex which prevents cuff or neckline from stretching out of shape. It is suitable for making active wear, sweatshirt, sweatpants and accessories.
Lyocell is a type of rayon cellulose fibre made from wood pulp generated from managed Eucalyptus groves in Austria, Australia, America and China. Low toxicity solvents are used (and recycled to be used again) to convert wood pulp into fibre.
Lyocell is the only fully closed loop cellulose fibre on the market. Featuring include good yarn tenacity and a smooth hand, Lyocell is very gentle on the skin. It is also thermal regulating, naturally anti bacterial and biodegradable.
