This four-way stretch Lyocell (Tencel™) Organic Cotton fabric is one of the most environmental friendly choices for knit fabric. This fabric blend is soft and smooth with good recovery. It drapes beautifully, falling rather than sticking. It is suitable for making sweatshirts, dresses, pants, jackets, leggings and hoodies.
Lyocell is a type of rayon cellulose fibre made from wood pulp generated from managed Eucalyptus groves in Austria, Australia, America and China. Low toxicity solvents are used (and recycled to be used again) to convert wood pulp into fibre.
Lyocell is the only fully closed loop cellulose fibre on the market. Featuring include good yarn tenacity and a smooth hand, Lyocell is very gentle on the skin. It is also thermal regulating, naturally anti bacterial and biodegradable.
Since this fabric is OEKO-TEX certified, it signifies that there is no harmful substances present on the fabric.
Care:
